Workshop Breakout Sessions

Workshop 1 – Breakout options

  • Generous Hospitality – Rick Bale (Beginner Track- up to 2 years of serving): Considerations for making your international guest “Feel at Home” when coming over for a meal or staying a few nights.


 

  • Generous Hospitality  – Wen Cao (Advanced Track-more than 2 years of serving): Your home is a vehicle for sharing God’s love and your faith and involving others in outreach

 

  • New Volunteer Training Track Part 1* (Only for those who have not yet completed the volunteer on-boarding process)- The first part of a 2-part interactive session to orient new volunteers and provide cross-cultural sensitivity training.

Workshop 2 – Breakout options

  • Building Genuine Friendship – Phil Foell (Beginner Track-Up to 2 years of serving) – Activities and tips for building a friendship with your international friend(s).

 

  • Building Genuine Friendship – Estera Pirosca (Advanced Track-more than 2 years of serving)- Deepening the friendship through Spiritual conversations.

 

  • New Volunteer Training Track Part 2*(Only for those who have not yet completed the volunteer on-boarding process)- The second part of a 2-part interactive session to orient new volunteers and provide cross-cultural sensitivity training.

Workshop 3 – Breakout options

  • Gospel Sharing (Beginner Track)- The beginnings of discipleship: IFI Bible Study Groups and How to study the Bible with your international friend.

 

  • Gospel Sharing – Rich Mendola (Advanced Track)- Preparing believing and seeking students to grow in their faith before they return home or go elsewhere.
