3. Leadership Opportunities With Students
-
Bible Study Small Groups – There are Bible study and fellowship groups that meet in various locations. Help is needed with giving rides, befriending students, coordinating food, and leading the Bible Study. Mentoring is provided. Click here for an Info Sheet about being a Bible Study Leader/Helper. Also, you can visit a web page with a list of Bible Study groups, their leaders, and date and time of meetings.
-
Children’s Ministry – Volunteers are needed to assist with the children. For many of the international parents, their effective participation in a Bible study depends on having adequate care for their children. Many of the children are eager to learn more about the Bible and Jesus. In addition, volunteers need to be able to leave their children, so they can serve as Children’s Ministry Information Sheet (PDF)
- Leadership Development of Students – IFI is beginning a pilot project that will hopefully attract non-believing students to dialog with Christian leaders. We are looking for Christian leaders in business and other industries to receive training and then share their experience with the internationals at their table during leadership training seminars. Click here to download a PDF with more info or contact Leila at .
4. Get Others At Your Church Involved
IFI partners with the local church to show hospitality and love to international students. We have key volunteers in churches who work with IFI to spread the word about opportunities to reach out to internationals.
