The nations are no longer waiting for us to go to them. Many are sending their future leaders here. Think about it: Hundreds of today's current world leaders were educated at the best universities in the world, many of them in the United States. Most International students come from countries in the 10/40 window, the area of the world that is hardest to reach by traditional missionaries.
While international students come to the US for many reasons, we believe that God is strategically placing them at American universities so we can share our faith with them. One student explained why he wanted to study in America: “In my country, it is hard to learn about God. In fact, my government hides information from us and makes it difficult to learn about God. You have religious freedom here. I came to America to learn about the God who is so powerful that my government keeps Him a secret.” Imagine the impact of sending international students home, to countries we can’t get into, with the life-changing power of the gospel!
