In consideration of participating as a volunteer of International Friendships, Inc. (IFI) as directed
by IFI and/or agents, I understand, acknowledge, and agree to the following:

Release and Waiver:

1. Participation in any IFI activity is strictly voluntary, and I freely choose to participate. I
understand that I will be responsible for my own welfare and safety. Furthermore, I hereby
RELEASE, WAIVE, and DISCHARGE IFI and its agents from and for any liability resulting
from personal injury, accident or illness (including death), and/or property loss, however caused
arising from, or in any way related to my participation as a volunteer of IFI and/or in connection
with using my vehicle to participate in an IFI activity, except for those caused by willful
misconduct, gross negligence, or intentional torts.

Assumption of Risk:

2. I understand and appreciate the risks and dangers inherent in driving or riding in a vehicle,
whether operated by myself or by an IFI agent. I voluntarily and knowingly accept and assume
responsibility for those risks and dangers.

Vehicle Insurance:

3. I understand that IFI does not provide vehicle insurance coverage for me, and I verify that I
will be responsible for maintaining my own automobile insurance and carrying proof of said
insurance.

Severability:

4. I expressly agree that the foregoing release and waiver, assumption of risk, and
acknowledgement of vehicle insurance is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by
the laws of Ohio and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, the remaining provisions shall
continue in full legal force and effect.
