IFI would like to gather Muslims and Christians together to learn about each other’s faith/culture, make friends and share an Iftar dinner together.

We will also be incorporating a discussion time, during which we will invite our Muslim and Christian friends to read from the Quran and Bible together.

1. Be the Hands and Feet of Jesus (you don’t have to do all of these, just some ideas of how you can serve 🙂

• Set up the games and beautiful decorations (3:00pm – 5:00pm)
• Prep & Serve food (4:00pm – 7:00pm)
• Check-in students (4:30pm – 5:30pm)
• Clean up after the fun is done (7:00pm – 8:00pm)
• Manage AV during the event (4:00pm – 8:30pm)
• Take photos to share with IFI (5:00pm – 7:30 pm)
• Host a table to lead discussion with students

NOTE: Each of these roles requires a Team Leader to direct other volunteers in serving. Please let us know if you are interested in being a Team leader when you register.

2. Provide Decorations or Food:

Major Needs include:

• Main Dishes (Servings of 12) – These include meat, vegetarian, & rice dishes. And meat dish should be Halal, and SHOULD NOT INLCUDE PORK.
• Snacks – These include veggie trays, fruits, and dates.
• Drinks – Dasani water, tea, & coffee
• Table Clothes  & Silverware – You can purchase silverware, white, and gold table cloths on Amazon and send them to our office.
